2016 Child Safety Day

The Child Safety Program presented by the Exchange Club of San Ramon was an
awesome adventure. The Hook and Ladder Truck with the three knowledgeable
and child friendly firemen had a steady stream of children and parents. Our
Danville Police Volunteers helped with fingerprinting our young children and
were busy all two hours. They too were most effective with both parents and
children. We were also lucky enough to have two outstanding attractions at
opposite ends of our display. Little Reds Barn Yard and Jungle James were
outstanding. Both venues were interactive and enjoyed by all. From pony rides
to petting a boa constrictor we had their attention. The members of the Exchange
Club were able to discuss and pass out information concerning Child Safety - from
bullies to computers our children are targets. Thanks is expressed to the National
Charity League who helped at this event for the third year in a row.
