2017 Child Safety Day

On April 22, 2017 the Exchange Club of San Ramon Valley sponsored another successful Child Safety Program. Over 125 adults and children participated. The highlights included Reds Barnyard Animals, Jungle James, the San Ramon Valley Hook and Ladder Fire Truck, a Danville Volunteer Policeman and a miniature horse. As each new attraction opened up there was a surge of folks to the area. The chickens looked fatter, the pony as gentle as ever and the donkey enjoyed constant brushing. Almost every child got to sit in the Fire Truck. The snakes were patted gently and the cockroaches touched by a few. Fingerprint kits went quickly and the Exchange Club almost ran out of pamphlets. The handouts ranged from Coping with Early Childhood to Online Computer Safety.
